of Technology in Australia during her study abroad
experience in 2015.
HAEFA MANSOUR (BSChE 2015) received a 2016 NSF
PUSHKARAN PALANI, senior, is the 2015-2016
president of Professional Practice Ambassadors. He's
the third ChE student in a row to serve as president of
RACHEL RAHN, junior, received the first-place poster
Poster Award at SRC TECHCON conference.
BEATA STRUBLE, senior, earned the 2015 Donald F.
Othmer Sophomore Academic Excellence Award.
WEN ZHONG, junior, is president of the Donald A.
Campbell Lafayette Toastmasters club.
The Professional Practice Ambassadors (PPA) is a student
organization composed of Co-Op students working to enhance
the awareness of cooperative learning programs. The leadership
team includes four ChE students (from left to right): Pushkaran
Palani, Courtney Panther, Samuel Steiger and Lauren Shotts.
Pictured above are some of the 64 undergraduate students who received scholarships from the School of Chemical Engineering
in 2015. The School provided $200,000 to ChE undergraduate students this year. Purdue University (including ChE) provided 397
scholarships to 223 Chemical Engineering undergraduate students, totaling $2.04 million
(excluding financial aid) for an average of $3,400 per student.
